A Middle East Bank established by the Government of Bahrain to promote investments in the country, and licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a conventional Retail Bank.
AQM was the preferred Tech Company assigned to conduct End-to-end Performance Testing which included Load, Stress, and Endurance Tests on TCS BaNCS.
The challenge required fulfillment of Performance SLAs for the concurrency of 100 users.
There was constant rework in test scripts due to frequent new build releases to incorporate continuous functional and performance fixes.
The scope of the assignment included safeguarding all the related top Business Critical scenarios.
An additional challenge was to provide quick Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using only on-premise tools, to set right the deviations from the expected performance SLAs, as revealed by the initial findings.
The AQM team comprising of Performance experts well experienced in Banking IT systems, as well as RCA – made a positive impact in a record turnaround time of 60 days.
- On-Premise solutions offered as per client’s requirements.
- Expert Consulting and Support for Scenarios Shortlisting process.
- RCA tools successfully used for exact performance bottleneck identification.
- Reports discussed with the Development Team to highlight the issues, and tuning recommendations were given.
- Tuning Recommendations: Load Balancer Rule correction to properly benefit from the horizontal scaling of application servers. Code-level and DB Query-level optimizations.
The Approach:
- Dedicated Load Test Environment (Replica of Production)
