1.The Clients

A Private Indian Bank with over 284 fully computerized branches and 266 ATMs across 6 states in India. The bank has a presence in 65 countries covering 9 currencies through its corresponding relationships with over 430 world-wide centers.

2.The Challenge

AQM was the preferred partner for conducting Load and Stress Tests on the Digital Banking System Finacle/FEBA.

It was important to confirm the application’s capacity to sustain the gigantic load of up to 50,000 concurrent users and 50 TPS (Transactions per Second).

Utmost care was to be taken to meet the SLAs for the Page Response Time, Throughput and Hardware Resource Utilizations.

The challenges increased due to poor performance rendered in initial test cycles with very high Page Response Time and constant increase in hardware.

Application scalability issues also featured on the agenda.

To add to it all, the available timelines were extremely squeezed.

3.AQM Solution

AQM’s dedicated team of Performance experts with vast experience in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) swung into action, ever-conscious of the limited timeframe at their disposal. The job was successfully done in a record time of 45 days.

    Our multi-dimensional offerings:

  • On-Premise solutions to suit the client’s requirements.
  • Consulting and Support in Scenarios Shortlisting process.
  • Use of RCA tools to quickly identify the exact performance bottleneck.
  • The following Tuning Recommendations were suggested: Front end optimizations for better user experience. Detailed Hardware optimization with performance level analysis. Sizing recommendations.

Web server connection Pool setting was changed and DB queries optimized.
